धुलिखेल/काभ्रेपलाञ्चोकको डाँडापारि अवस्थित महाभारत गाउँपालिका–८ घर्तिछापमा आयोजित नि:शुल्क स्वास्थ्य शिविरबाट ६७६ जना नागरिक लाभान्वित भएका छन्।
महाभारत गाउँपालिकाको आयोजनामा तथा जिल्ला जनस्वास्थ्य कार्यालय काभ्रेपलाञ्चोक, धुलिखेलको समन्वयमा सञ्चालन गरिएको उक्त शिविरमार्फत स्थानीय नागरिकले गाउँमै विभिन्न विशेषज्ञ स्वास्थ्य सेवा प्राप्त गरेका हुन्।
शिविरमा विद्यालय स्वास्थ्य कार्यक्रम अन्तर्गत विद्यार्थीहरूको नाक, कान र घाँटीसम्बन्धी रोगको परीक्षण, उपचार तथा परामर्श, मुख तथा दाँत रोगको परीक्षण र उपचार, आँखा परीक्षण, उपचार तथा चस्मा वितरण गरिएको थियो। साथै मुटु रोग परीक्षण, रक्त समूह जाँच तथा कार्ड वितरण सेवा पनि प्रदान गरिएको थियो।
त्यसैगरी विशेषज्ञ चिकित्सकहरूबाट सामान्य स्वास्थ्य परीक्षण, प्रसूति तथा स्त्री रोग सेवा, क्षयरोग पहिचानका लागि छाती परीक्षण र एक्स–रे, स्वास्थ्य शिक्षा, उपचार तथा परामर्श सेवा उपलब्ध गराइएको थियो। नसर्ने रोग पहिचानका लागि रक्तचाप मापन, नि:शुल्क परिवार नियोजन सेवा, पाठेघर खस्ने समस्या जाँच तथा उपचार, पाठेघरको मुखको क्यान्सरको सम्भावना भएका महिलाको परीक्षण तथा अपाङ्गता परिचयपत्र वितरणका लागि शारीरिक परीक्षणसमेत गरिएको थियो।
गाउँपालिका स्वास्थ्य शाखा प्रमुख हरीसिं विष्टका अनुसार शिविरमा १६८ जनाले दाँत परीक्षण र ३०० जनाले आँखा परीक्षण गराएका छन्। मुख्यमन्त्री जनता स्वास्थ्य कार्यक्रम अन्तर्गत २३३ जनाको नसर्ने रोग स्क्रिनिङ गरिएको छ भने १८६ जनाको रक्त समूह परीक्षण गरिएको छ। बालबालिकाको नाक, कान, घाँटी तथा मुटु परीक्षण २३२ जनाले गराएका छन्। त्यस्तै २७१ जनाले छाती परीक्षण गराएकामध्ये १५९ जनाले एक्स–रे सेवा लिएका छन्। सामान्य स्वास्थ्य परीक्षण ३८१ जनाले र प्रसूति तथा स्त्री रोग तथा प्रजनन स्वास्थ्यतर्फ ११० जनाले सेवा लिएका छन्।
कार्यक्रमको उद्घाटन गर्दै काभ्रेपलाञ्चोकका प्रमुख जिल्ला अधिकारी गोपालकुमार अधिकारीले स्वास्थ्य सेवा लिन भकुण्डे, धुलिखेल वा बनेपा जानुपर्ने बाध्यता अन्त्य गर्दै गाउँमै सेवा उपलब्ध गराउनु स्थानीय सरकारको महत्वपूर्ण दायित्व भएको बताउनुभयो। नागरिकले समयमै नजिकैबाट सेवा लिन पाउने अवस्था सिर्जना भएमा मात्र संघीयताको मर्म सार्थक हुने उहाँको भनाइ थियो।
महाभारत गाउँपालिका अध्यक्ष कान्छालाल जिम्बाले गाउँमा अस्पताल नभएको अवस्थामा अस्पतालकै सेवा दिने उद्देश्यले प्रत्येक वर्ष एक पटक नि:शुल्क स्वास्थ्य शिविर सञ्चालन गर्दै आएको जानकारी दिनुभयो। हाल अस्पताल भवन निर्माणको काम जारी रहेको र आगामी दिनमा गाउँमै अस्पताल सञ्चालन गर्ने लक्ष्यसहित पालिका अघि बढिरहेको उहाँले बताउनुभयो।
